ELI, approx. 4 ½ yrs. old, 45 pds. Is a loveable, laid back, sweet, gentle boy. He came into rescue because he and his sister got out and did one of the things huskies are good at: indulged his prey drive.
He spends the better part of the day quietly in a large outdoor kennel.
For a few hours each day he gets out to roam a secure acre+ of brush and hillside. However, his favorite spot is in the house, on a couch or the bed, it’s all the same to him. He easily adjusted to the doggie door. He loves treats and cuddling. He submitted willingly to have his very soft coat brushed. Although not tested on the open road, he is really easy on leash. Because of the prey drive for smaller critters dog parks are not recommended. Eli is a lovely talker, not loud, but he sure can spin a yarn. He has his foster mom twisted around his little claw.
Like all huskies he will need a secure fence: top and bottom. And remember no small critters.
