ELI, Luna’s brother

ELI, approx. 4 ½ yrs. old, 45 pds.  Is a loveable, laid back sweet boy. He came into rescue because he and his wee sister LUNA, 2 ½ yrs. old, 35 pds., got out and went on some killing spree. As the shelter said: Mayhem ensued.

The two of them are doing great together. So far no idea how they would do with some other dogs their size. They both share a large kennel for most of the day, but get to roam an acre+ hilly/brushy securely fenced area twice a day. But they like even better getting into the house and searching the softest surfaces, like couch or bed. There seems to be only one thing both of them like more: and that’s some TLC. Both of them keep the kennel clean all night long! Neither of them is one of those super hard pullers. OK, so they are counter surfers. But a quick “NO” stops them dead in their track…..Ideally these two should stay together – they are so easy to handle. They are big cuddle bugs. Oh and I forgot: Eli is a lovely talker, not loud, but he sure can spin a yarn. Neither has been barking much, but then I live way back from a very quiet back road.

Like all huskies they will need a secure fence: top and bottom. And remember no small critters. Eli did mange to scale my 6’ chain link gate! So extra care will be needed.

The adoption fee of $200 includes spay-neuter, all vaccines and microchip.
