Nikki-Nick is waiting for that perfect home.
Meet Nick, he will be 2 years old on Sept. 24. Nick has had many transitions in his life and is looking for stability and a family to love him. Nick is a young strong-willed male. He needs an experienced husky/dog savvy home. Nick was picked up as stray dog and then he flew from Phoenix, AZ in September 2019 to Spokane. He was at Spokanimal Humane Society and then transferred to NW Snowdog Rescue. Nick spent a couple of months living in a boarding kennel since no foster homes were available. He was adopted in March 2020. Unfortunately, the person who adopted Nick is not able to keep him, we appreciate that they were kind enough to return him to rescue.
Nick is a young teenager. Unfortunately, he is back in a boarding kennel and is great need of someone to rescue him. He needs to be an only dog and he still needs some leash training. He is a very strong puller, he also reacts negatively to other dogs when he sees them, he would appreciate some human guidance on proper dog introductions. Nick gets along great with people, he loves to snuggle and is great inside. Nick will thrive with a family that helps him understand if he respects others space, they will in turn respect his and that not all other dogs are cause for alarm. Careful introductions will need to occur. If you would like to help Nick by providing a forever or foster home for him. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
