Chief and LuLu are huskies, and about 8 years old, so they have mellowed out some. Their current owner is unable to keep them anymore. They have been together since they were 4 months old but from different litters. Both in excellent health. Both are extremely people friendly! Off leash, Chief is fine with other dogs as is LuLu. At feeding time Chief would prefer to eat by himself, he doesn’t like other dogs around. LuLu is in lala land around other dogs, she is very easy going. On leash Chief reacts poorly to other dogs, (except LuLu), he will need training in this area. They used to go to a dog park and were fine. They both have been in large dog runs for 3 years. Their owner is unable to walk them, especially both at the same time and in the winter. At the house there is snow on the ground from late October until mid June (not good for planting flowers). They both are runners. They love to run. The owners son had them at his house but moved and doesn’t have space for them any longer.
Being Huskies, they prefer cold climates. They will be great friends to the right family, they just need a little patience and some retraining. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
