Meet Oakley he is looking for a new forever home. Here is what is current owner has to say, “Oakley is 4 years old, black and white husky, neutered and current on his shots. He is very loving and high energy. He loves to go on walks and runs and loves to be outdoors and playing in the water but he can also have days where he can sit inside and relax. When the weather isn’t too hot he enjoys being hooked to the harness and pulling me around on my long board. He does talk back to as in most huskies do. He throws little temper tantrums when he doesn’t get what wants which is usually when not allowed on the couch or on the bed. Since he is a young dog, he can be stuck in his ways at times. So I learned that telling him what to do with a stern voice seemed to work the best, or try and bribe him with treats. He can do lots of tricks when it comes to giving him treats. Like sit, shake with both paws, high five, lay down, sit up, stand, sit handsome (him sitting on his back legs and front paws bent and hanging) speak, and give kisses. Oakley gets along with other dogs, it’s just at first he tries to show his dominance. Once he realizes that the other dogs are his buddies, he just won’t stop playing and stays by their side. He is great with kids and other people, I’ve never seen him growl or bark at anybody. He does not get along with any cats or farm animals at all. That is the main reason I have to rehome him, as I had to move in with my family and they have cats.” Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like an application or more information.
