Foxy is about 11 months old, currently in the Seattle area. She is a super sweet dog. She needs to be socialized with other dogs and animals. She does have a high prey drive and chases bugs. She doesn’t do well with other dogs right now but with some work she would be fine. An ideal home for her would be someone who can devote allot of time to her. She is full of energy and tends to cause trouble if she is bored. She is a typical husky but also has some wild traits to her. She needs either a family setting with her being the only main pet. Or one on one with someone who works from home and is either a runner or biker. She was my brothers’ dog who passed away and has been with me for 2 months now. She seems to learn commands but can also be hard headed when she wants. My brother used to run her on a longboard skate board to help get her energy out. She is treat driven and seems to have had quite a bit of human food before I got her. But she knows basic commands. Sit, stay, wait, shake, down. We have been working on her leash training as well so she doesn’t pull my 11 year old down the street. She’s got some separation anxiety from my brother passing away but I feel that will go away in time. I have everything she needs from toys, to leashes, to a really nice big home crate as well as a travel crate. Foxy is looking for a new foster home, if you would like to consider becoming a foster family please email firstname.lastname@example.org, Foxy will be spayed upon adoption/foster home transfer.
