Meet Hope – Hope came into rescue with many porcupine quills (now removed), she had been homeless for a period of time. She is still very shy of humans, but loves other dogs. Here is what her foster mom has to say, “After our walk yesterday I was able to pet her, not just her head but her whole body. She’s not crazy about her feet being touched….so I’ve been sleeping in the big house since she came to me. I had a friend & her family help with just getting her used to people and kids and their 3 dogs. Hope is learning to trust people and is now sleeping on the bed at night with her foster mom. Hope is a young husky so there is much potential for her! We don’t know how long she was homeless but we do know she is now being loved and is adjusting well. She would do best in a home with other dogs to follow and play with. She needs a patient family who will allow her to learn to trust them and not rush her. She is great in the house and crate. She is being fostered in north Idaho. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like Hope to be part of your family.
