Meet Kida. She is a 7 month old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix who is current on her shots and will be spayed in late August. Kida is highly trainable, intelligent, energetic, silly and fun. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch, playing tug of war and she even enjoys training. Kida will lick your tears away and replace them with belly laughs. Kida is highly food motivated and learns new tricks fairly easily. Currently she knows: sit, down, wait, turn around, high five and shake. She sometimes knows: leave it and off. She loves to meet new people and new dogs and keeping her excitement in check may be a challenge.
Based on Kida’s overall disposition we believe that her ideal home would be with someone who has significant land where she can run and expend her energy. She loves to go for walks and meet other dogs, however you will need to remind her of her size when meeting a smaller dog. Her ideal home would have one owner, maybe two, who enjoy outside activities. She doesn’t do as well with children who take her parent(s) attention away from her, and while there were never any problems with her and our cats, the cats never really let her get near them. Ideally, a cat free home would be preferred. Her ideal home will be with owners that have been husky owners before and are able to consistently train Kida with her resource guarding.
Kida lives in Washougal Washington
