Cassiopeia “Cassie” – Adopted

Cassiopeia, came into rescue as Gwen and had a litter of puppies and she was a wonderful mother.  Unfortunately, she had heartworms and the treatment was postponed until her pups were weaned.  She is now heartworm negative; she has had a loving foster home to patiently care for her as she recovered from the heartworms.  Cassie is now ready to find her forever home.  She needs to remain a low-key husky, so she would appreciate a home that likes to do short walks, nothing too strenuous as she continues to have some residual coughing.  She would be fine in a home with a small yard, or even an apartment. She’s a love and will melt your heart with those eyes that make you want to love her! She’s met human strangers and is non-reactive, warm and welcoming for more pets! She seems to be good with other dogs as long as there isn’t too much play. Preferred no cats at all, not sure about small dogs! She knows the doggy door, walks great on leash and will sleep in a kennel! This girl is the Husky one dreams of having, well behaved, loving and non-destructive.

Please email for an application.  NWSR is so grateful to our foster homes who take dogs in need into their home and loves them until their forever home is found.
