Nani just arrived at NW Snowdog Rescue. She is approximately two years old and was well-loved by her former owner, who unfortunately had to give her up when he went to live in an assisted living facility. She hasn’t been exposed to much in her short life, and as a result, will need training on basic manners and leash etiquette. She does have some resource-guarding behaviors she will need to work on. She’s interacting pretty well with her foster brother, but it’s our understanding that she doesn’t have a lot of experience with other dogs. If she goes to a home with resident dogs, she will need introductions to ensure a good match. Nani, like any other husky, will need a secure (at least 6’) fence to keep her safe.
