Meet Taz! He is a black and white, 4-month-old, male husky, that weighs approximately 20-25lbs.
Formerly known as Buttercup, he came into the shelter as a stray with two other young pups. He was very shy at the time and unsure of the humans. Once he was sprung from shelter life and brought to his foster home, he thrived as a puppy doing puppy things. He is learning to love and trust his humans again with the help of his foster brothers and sisters.
He is an attention-getter and a charmer and always makes sure he acknowledges you with nose touches and kisses. He is a great eater and will eat others’ food if you let him. He gets along well with all his foster sisters and the two he came with. He is a little rough around the edges and will need some training. Right now he is working on “NO”, “SIT” and “STAY.” He walks decently on the leash and knows the doggy door.
He sleeps all night long now, and loves to cuddle with another furry friend, maybe even with a human in the bed. Watching him play is so entertaining and delightful to watch. He has so much character.
Taz is sweet, loving, energetic and very playful. He will fetch a toy, and we are still learning to retrieve. He is ultra curious, will dig, but not to get out, so a sand box just may be the right toy for this cutie.
Taz has not yet been neutered yet and will require that before adoption but he is up-to-date on all vaccines and is microchipped.
He is in need of the perfect active home or with children he can grow with. Will you be the one he loves?
